Description
Brainy Studio is a Russian entertainment and independent video game development studio, founded by 4 developers: Evgenii Romin, Ilia Antonov, Anton Baranov and Dmitri Ogorodnikov. The studio is best known for developing the game TurnOn, with prototype of which has won Imagine Cup 2014 in "Games" category held by Microsoft and other partners. The recent title, TurnOn, coming soon on Xbox One and Steam in spring 2016.
History
Our first 3 yearsWe found Brainy Studio in January 2013 being the students of Perm National Research Polytechnic University. The same year we launched our first game WitchCraft on Windows Phone platform and placed second at Imagine Cup Russia Finals in Moscow with it. Later after the winning Imagine Cup International Finals we took part in August PAX Prime in Seattle and got the right to go to the AppCampus acceleration program, organized jointly by Microsoft and Nokia in the Finnish University of Aalto. In February 2015 we released the first demo episode of TurnOn for Windows Phone, and began Steam Greenlight campaign (got Greenlit April 17, 2015 in 12 days). At the end of June TurnOn was announced on Xbox One under E3 2015 in Los Angeles as a member of ID@Xbox program with 124 others. The creation of TurnOn was inspired by the global movement Earth Hour, which is held by WWF.
